For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a drive to build things the right way. After years of framing single-family homes and managing complex residential construction projects, I developed a deep appreciation for the finer details of finish carpentry. I realized that out of every task on a job site, hanging a door was the one that required the highest level of patience and absolute precision.
To a lot of people, a door is just a piece of wood on a hinge. But to a passionate carpenter, it’s a moving wall and a precise piece of architectural hardware. It has to handle constant daily use, withstand shifting weather, and maintain perfect margins over time. It’s an exacting discipline where a single millimeter makes all the difference between a flawless glide and a stubborn stick.
I founded TheDoorPro because I wanted to dedicate my entire craft to mastering that specific challenge. By narrowing my focus, I could invest in the specialized tooling, precision structural techniques, and high-end equipment required to do this work at the highest possible level.
